Accounting Manager

Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager is a working role with responsibility for oversight of assigned team activities and special projects.
Candidate Requirements include:
- Proven ability to provide accurate and timely accounting reports, financial statements and reconciliations
- Keen focus on financial details, with the ability to identify and communicate trends, perform analyses, and generate informational tools to facilitate decision making
- Discipline to manage accounting information systems and processes
- Passion to bring projects to conclusion in an organized fashion
- Capable of independent thinking and results-driven problem resolution
- History of effective supervision and mentoring of other accounting staff
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Management
- 5 years of experience in similar accounting and/or operations environment
- CPA designation preferred
- Previous supervisory experience, including coaching and performance management
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and follow-up skills in a fast paced environment
