Identity Architects and Identity Built are elements of a growing firm providing architectural, design, construction management and real estate development for retail, hospitality, healthcare, and office sectors. Comprised of 25 team members, the team is located in Houston, Texas.

This key Executive role will serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure successful attainment of short and long-term vision and strategic plans. Specific expectations include all financial strategy and operations; IT and human resources operations; and leading/developing team members consistent with service standards and financial goals/objectives.

This key Executive role serves as Chief Financial Officer to craft and enhance strategies to drive business operations and growth of the firm.

Key areas of responsibilities:

• Translating CEO's vision into daily operational practice and systemic norms
• Serve as a member of the firm's Executive Team, meeting regularly using the tenants of the Entrepreneurial Operating System
• Determine and rigorously monitor key data and analytics to drive all areas of firm operations
• Serve as a financial strategist, aligning financial and business strategies in the formulation of management policy and the strategic plan.
• Financial strategies: budget creation, monthly P&L analysis, financial reporting
• Accounting tactics: supervise Accountant, A/P and A/R team members, and ensure accurate and timely completion of all work processes including monthly cashflow analysis & monthly budget variance analysis
• Execute budgeting process to achieve financial targets; preparation of monthly metrics for review by the senior leadership team.

• Provide reports and analyses to CEO of progress against goals, subject to GAAP, Medicare and IRS regulations
• Project performance and opportunities through forecasting and financial analysis

• Oversee the preparation and filing of all external reports for the organization such as cost reports, tax reports, government solicitation licenses and other government applications. Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.
• Review and assess financial implications of all organizational contracts
• Business planning, including leading of systems and strategies to achieve financial targets and quarterly goals
• Drive robust quarterly goal ("rocks") program throughout the firm, thus creating a sense of urgency, clarity and results orientation team-wide
• Rigorously advance 1-year, 3-year and 10-year goals and visions
• Ensure efficient business operations, including adherence to core values, quality and customer service standards
• Create/manage reward systems: employee benefits, retirement plans, bonus and incentive strategies
• Ensure human resource policies and practices are aligned with values and vision

Qualifications include:

• A strategic and entrepreneurial thinker
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
• 5+ years of financial leadership experience
• Experience with the Entrepreneurial Operating System preferred
• Possess critical thinking skills with strong business and cross-functional experience

• Experience and proven track record in managing a budget and increasing revenue and profitability
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of successfully collaborating with a visionary CEO
