The Director of Sales & Delivery is a dynamic executive who easily accesses the C-Suite, understands the needs of organizations to have high functioning, collaborative staff, and compellingly communicates the value of enhancing leadership development and performance.

Key Objectives

Grow Revenue - HEG's successful Director of Sales and Delivery identifies, nurtures, and develops relationships with potential client organizations. The Director has the key role in creating a value proposition to companies that are actively seeking to improve performance through its people.

Expand Opportunities - The Director will continue to build the reputation of HEG and the Foundation as a thought leader in innovative and cutting-edge Executive Leadership and Employee Development programs. The Director will play a key role in this effort through networking, speaking engagements and conference attendance.

Improve Process / Promote Growth - Wright has recently undergone rapid growth under the leadership of the founding members and staff. The organization is in the process of adding several key positions to help support that growth. The Director must be hands-on and deeply involved in sales and customer engagements but must also contribute to the empowerment of a strong leadership team and the continued evolution and refinement of product offerings and excellence of client delivery.

People Development & Leadership - HEG's team members with their significant training and experience are the division's most vital assets. The Director must further develop and nurture Wright's positive corporate culture, develop key employees, and hire the best available additional talent.

Professional Qualifications

Candidates must have demonstrated the ability to grow businesses, ideally growing revenue significantly. Specific experience should include the following:

  • P&L management accountability.
  • Demonstrated sales success with keen business, financial, strategic and emotional intelligence.
  • Demonstrated success in building a service delivery organization or division thereof.
  • Experience and success in selling services to C-level executives.
  • Ability to coach executives.
  • Possesses and works a current, active network of CEO's and other business executives.
  • Industry experience in consulting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to work effectively with clients to foster business development. Effective interpersonal and people management skills to provide strong leadership and ensure high staff productivity.
  • Proven ability to identify key metrics that drive business performance and galvanize a management team around these metrics, resulting in exceptional operational and financial performance.
  • Demonstrated self-starter, willing to roll-up sleeves and execute the minutia as well as the strategic.
  • Committed to personal and professional growth and development.
  • Tenacious, abiding sense of urgency and personal pace.
  • Commitment and passion for the mission, the team and results, assuming direct, personal ownership for the organization's success.
  • Has a work style that elevates the performance of those with whom she/he works.
  • Leads team in such a way to as to create self-directed leadership and enthusiastic followership.
