Hospitality/Restaurant Director of Operations

Our client's restaurant, located in Indianapolis, is focused on delivering flavorful food that supports living a healthy lifestyle. 

Reporting to the Founder/Owner, the Director of Operations is responsible for creating and executing the strategy for driving revenue, increasing business and growing the restaurant brand through innovative approaches. 

DUTIES

Key areas of responsibility:

 

  •  Creating and implementing strategies for driving revenue growth to meet or exceed financial objectives

  • Developing and utilizing a variety of data sources to analyze and evaluate key business drivers, challenges and opportunities in order to make strategic business decisions for revenue growth

  • Play a strategic role in the growth of the restaurant brand through the execution of strategy; responsible for brand health and performance

rn

  • Partner with like minded organizations to support both revenue and branding goals

rn

  • Provide leadership and supervision to other restaurant leadership staff, ensuring operational goals, standards and objectives are achieved, ultimately supporting strong brand recognition and financial goals

QUALIFICATIONS

rn

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Hospitality Management preferred;  or equivalent combination of educational and work experience

rn

  • 5+ years of strategic hospitality leadership experience, preferably in restaurant management

rn

  • Demonstrated success in driving revenues to exceed financial objectives

rn

  • Demonstrated success in creative thinking to create strong brand recognition

rn

  • Personally subscribe to a healthy living philosophy and interested in providing nutritional education opportunities

rn

  • Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment 

rn

  • Experience and proven track record in managing a budget, cost controls to increase revenue and profitability

rn

  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of successfully training and developing people

rn

  • Availability to work evenings, holidays and weekends as needed

rn

  • This position is based in Indianapolis; some overnight travel will be required

rn
