Human Resources and Operations Coordinator

Human Resources and Operations Coordinator (Part-time/24 hours per week)

Our client, The Corner Health Center's mission is to inspire 12- to 25-year-olds (and their children) to achieve and sustain healthy lives by providing judgment-free, affordable health, and wellness care and education. The Corner seeks a part-time professional to provide service and support to the team members/employees of the organization.


Duties include:

  • Payroll management
  • Coordinates and maintains personnel records for staff, students, and volunteers
  • Coordinates hiring procedures and general orientation for new staff and interns, termination procedures for departing staff
    • Posts jobs and coordinates interview processes
    • Maintains onboarding packet materials
    • Maintains Employee Handbook
    • Drafts and updates needed policies
  • Employee benefits coordination/enrollment/invoice review
    • Health & Dental insurance
    • Life and Disability coverage
    • Employee 403(b) contributions enrollment
    • HSA
  • Coordinates annual employee performance evaluation processes
  • Coordinates building security including distribution of keys, staff phone lists, emergency phone tree lists, and related safety; after-hours support information; alarm company liaison; ensure regular staff drills (e.g. fire drills) as required
  • Support of the finance department with various tasks and projects

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years experience; or an equivalent amount of directly related work experience
  • Excellent writing and organizational skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other software packages
  • Experience with ADP Payroll systems preferred, but not required
  • Database management
  • Adherence to deadlines
  • Ability to complete work with discretion and minimal supervision
  • Involves teamwork using tact, discretion, initiative, and independent judgment within established policy
  • Appreciation and affinity for the Corner's mission
