Avfuel is currently seeking an entry-level Staff Accountant to join their Ann Arbor team.

• Prepare Journal entries
• General Ledger Maintenance
• Reconcile and problem solve to maintain balance sheet accounts
• Independently research and correct billing, inventory and tax discrepancies.
• Assist with special projects as needed
• Effectively communicate with operational team and management
• Other duties as assigned by management

• Bachelors Degree with a concentration in Accounting preferred but not required.
• Some accounting experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work with high volume data and information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, other accounting software a plus
• Organized with strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Flexible approach to accomplishing goals
• Positive winning attitude
• Strong problem solving skills: situational awareness, options and recommendations
• Team oriented approach to problem solving
