Spend your summer having outdoor adventures, saving the universe, defeating dark wizards, creating artistic masterpieces, searching for buried treasure, completing mythological quests, conducting crazy and cool science experiments, playing sports AND carnival, and making new friends as a Summer Camp Counselor at Honey Creek Community School!
With forty acres, daily swimming in an indoor pool, and weekly field trips, you will have an opportunity to plan and supervise adventures abound for school-age children at the theme-based Honey Creek Summer Camp.
DUTIES:
Provide a safe, nurturing, fun, and educational environment from 8am-6pm for campers in grades K-8. Responsibilities include supervision; activity planning; snack preparation and clean up; prevention and mediation of conflicts; and communicating with parents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma and must pass a criminal history background check, physical, drug screen, and Tb test.
Preference will be given to those with child care experience and those certified in or studying education, social work, or another child-related field.
